Chappell Roan has been named as the first headliner of Way Out West 2025.

The first list of artists performing at Way Out West have been revealed, with woman of the moment Chappell Roan headlining the annual Swedish festival.
Held at the massive Slottsskogen parklands in the town of Gothenburg, Way Out West runs from Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9.
The initial lineup of artists also includes psych-rock trio Khruangbin, Irish post-punk rockers Fontaines D.C. and British indie act Wet Leg.
A limited number of discounted early bird tickets go on sale Monday, November 25 at 9:00am (6:30pm local time) via wayoutwest.se.

Way Out West was first held as a one-day festival around Gothenburg in 2007. It expanded to a three-day event in 2012 and features after festival gigs and parties in venues across the city.
The 2024 festival was a monster success with a bill headlined by the likes of The National, PJ Harvey, Fever Ray, Jack White, Fred Again.. and many more.
