We love Record Store Day here at The Note, but the crew at My Dead Grandpa might have us beat. Their obsession with vinyl has led to the creation of a special two-day vinyl market this Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.
This is not only a celebration of Record Store Day, but a way of bringing Adelaide’s music-loving community together for two days of tunes, vinyl and good vibes.
There will be a host of exclusive vinyl sellers slinging Record Store Day exclusives, including top picks such as Olivia Dean’s BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge 7” Single, Spacey Jane’s Live at The Hordern Pavilion and Bring Me The Horizon’s Lo-Files 2 Vinyl, LP Limited Edition, along with dozens of crates chock full of various vinyl that’s sure to get collectors excited.
Local DJs Mellow Chronics will be behind the decks all day, playing feel-good music as you shop until you drop, while food and coffee will be available for those in need of a pick-me-up.
