Video Premiere: Miss Orange Juicy – ‘Sorry Not Sorry’

The Note is excited to premiere the music video for emerging Adelaide duo Miss Orange Juicy’s latest single, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’.
A vibrant head nodder written after an argument “where biting their tongue seemed easier than speaking out,” ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is a melodic wonder accompanied by a music video edited and directed by the band that features the two playing a game of street ball against a couple of rather tall gents.
“‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is for the serial over-apologisers, the times you’ve had to say sorry to accommodate someone else’s silly ego, or maybe the times you’ve said sorry when actually you deserved the apology!” says Paige, one half of Miss Orange Juicy. “This track was born out of replaying a recent clash where I bit my tongue for the sake of ‘keeping the peace’, only to realise it was nothing more than a hypocritical pity party. If you know, you know!
Talking about the making of the video, Paige adds, “Mario came up with the concept and I, of course, loved it! It’s was a really fun idea and it felt representative of the song, we shot over the course of a day and Mario and I spent a lot of back and fourth editing it and putting it together, it was a very hands on process but that’s something we love doing! this is my first time trying my hand at grading, still on my L plates but we feel really happy how it’s all come together!”
Mario said, “‘When you have a professional basketball player in the family, you can’t not make this video.”

‘Sorry Not Sorry’ follows Miss Orange Juicy’s debut single, ‘Orange Juicy’, which introduced music lovers to the band’s sugary pop sound. ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ marks the next chapter in the band’s sonic evolution and arrives after Miss Orange Juicy made their live debut at The Ed Castle as part of Queer Club: Loud & Queer, exciting the crowd with their brand of fizzy pop.
