triple j has locked in a date for its epic rural festival One Night Stand: Saturday, September 14!
The confirmation comes five years after the last One Night Stand was held in Lucindale, South Australia. The 2019 event was a massive success and featured an all-star lineup including Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, Ocean Alley, G Flip and Chelsea Manor.
While details surrounding the location of this year’s event remain a mystery, triple j revealed they received an incredible 2087 submission from towns across the country hoping to host this year’s festival.
The full lineup and location are set to be announced later this month, with the one-day music festival an all-ages event that’s also alcohol-free.

“We’re busy working on an incredible line-up sure to create another One Night Stand for the history books and we can’t wait to see where we’ll be heading in 2024.”
One Night Stand 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the festival which debuted in the town of Natimuk, Victoria, in July 2004. The lineup for the inaugural festival included Grinspoon, The Dissociatives, and Eskimo Joe.
