The Strokes Announce 'Reality Awaits' Australian Tour 2027

Indie favourites The Strokes make their highly anticipated return to Australia in February 2027 as part of their Reality Awaits tour.

After a one-off performance in Adelaide as part of Harvest Rock last year, The Strokes have lined up four special shows.

The tour kicks off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday 13 February, followed by two concerts at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February, ending with a massive show as part of Sydney Summertime at Centennial Park in Sydney on Saturday 20 February.

New mini-festival Sydney Summertime features The Strokes with special guests Beck, Courtney Barnett and Promiseland.

Courtney Barnett and Promiseland are also confirmed as special guests for the Brisbane and Melbourne shows.

When it comes to scoring tickets, there are several pre-sale options available listed below.

An artist presale will commence Monday 28 September at 9am AEST and run until Tuesday 29 September at 12pm AEST.

The Strokes' tour is their first headline run of Australian shows since 2022 and follows their seventh studio album, Reality Awaits.

Recorded with esteemed producer Rick Rubin in Costa Rica and finished around the globe, the album is The Strokes' first since 2020's much-lauded The New Abnormal.

The Strokes have spent most of this year touring the record, playing festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Japan's Summer Sonic 2026, along with sold-out shows across North America and Japan, with more to come across the UK, Europe and South America before touching down in Australia.
