The Kid LAROI Drops Sophomore Album ‘Before I Forget’

 

The album includes ‘A Cold Play’, ‘A Perfect World’ and ‘Back When You Were Mine’.

Aussie rapper and singer The Kid LAROI has dropped his much-anticipated sophomore album, Before I Forget.

Released via Columbia Records, Before I Forget is LAROI’s first full-length studio album in two years and follows the release of his 2023 debut album, The First Time. The album includes the previously released singles ‘A Cold Play’, ‘A Perfect World’ and ‘Back When You Were Mine’ and explores the breakdown of a relationship.

Taking to Instagram to announce the album, LAROI wrote: “I made this album in the last 4 months. I had a whole other album that was completed but I scrapped it. started again from scratch with the exception of 1 song. it’s my favorite thing I’ve ever made. it’s also the most personal thing I’ve ever made. sorry it’s taken a while. I hope that it resonates with you in some way cause it means a hell of a lot to me. I love you and thank you for supporting me always.”

Before I Forget was co-produced and co-written by Laroi’s younger brother Auz and features contributions from artists including Andrew Aged, Clara La San, and Lithe, and producers such as KBeazy, Omer Fedi, Jack Mello and more.

The release of Before I Forget arrives after a big 2025 for The Kid LAROI, who took out Song of the Year at the ARIA Awards for his hit single ‘GIRLS’.

The NSW-born rapper also performed at the NFL halftime show in Berlin in the game between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons, performing recent singles ‘A Perfect World’ and ‘A Cold Play’.

While he’s yet to announce a tour for the album, fans in Melbourne can catch The Kid LAROI performing as part of the AO Live 2026 Concert Series on Wednesday 28 January.
