Stand Atlantic Reveal 'GODBREATH' Australian Tour Dates

The tour comes in support of the band's upcoming fifth studio album, 'GODBREATH'.

Aussie punk rockers Stand Atlantic have announced an Australian tour in support of their forthcoming fifth studio album, GODBREATH, out Friday 23 October via Virgin Music Group.

Stand Atlantic will be accompanied by American heavyweights Knuckle Puck, with Stand Atlantic pumped to be back on the road this October and November.

"We're so excited to embark on our biggest tour to date in support of our new album GODBREATH," says Stand Atlantic's vocalist Bonnie Fraser. "It’s come full circle being able to have our old tour buddies Knuckle Puck (US) come along for the ride!"

Stand Atlantic's GODBREATH tour begins in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 23 October, followed by dates at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Saturday 24 October, Melbourne's The Forum on Wednesday 28 October, Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday 29 October and finally Perth's Metropolis on Sunday 1 November.

Pre-sale tickets are available at 9am AEST on Monday 17 August, with general on-sale at 9am on Wednesday 19 August. Ticketing info is available at standatlantic.com.

GODBREATH is shaping up as Stand Atlantic's best project yet, with the band demonstrating growth as songwriters and performers across the record's 11 tracks.

So far, two singles have been shared with fans: 'LUCID' and 'Velcro', with the latter accompanied by a music video featuring a montage of VHS-style footage filmed at the Lord Gladstone Hotel in the band's hometown by director Max Pasalic.

Speaking on the new album, Fraser says, "To me, GODBREATH means being the most authentic version of yourself. It's someone who will do whatever they need to do to get shit done. It's the consequence of those moments when you’re really leaning into what you do, and you feel on top of the world. When being that honest and open just creates this whole other thing within you. It’s about speaking and owning your truth."
