Greetings Earthlings! Beloved music festival Space Jams is returning to the Fleurieu Peninsula. Here’s your first taste of the lineup.
Space Jams has just dropped the first round of its 2024 bill! This October 5, the award-winning music festival will take place at the old Myponga Market — rebranded as LUNA. Expect good vibes and a big ol’ boogie under the stars when this stacked lineup plays this spring.
Headlining the 2024 edition is The Empty Threats, the award-winning post-punk/noise-rock outfit who are fresh from a European tour. The band has become a cornerstone of SA’s live music scene with their captivating performances that leave your brain bamboozled.
Joining them will be other standout South Australian acts such as Mane, King Jeff and the How Are Yous, Effie Isobel, Naomi Keyte, Shodashi, Thunder Speaks and Pash and more. There’s even a ‘secret act’ teased as well as many more acts to be announced!
Imperial Measures Distilling and Pirate Life are joining in on the fun this year, presenting 18 performances across two stages. Plus, there’ll be fire performers, art installations, tasty food, craft bevvies and so much more. Let loose to some of the best sounds emerging from SA’s music scene at night before devouring a freshly-cooked big brekky in the morn.
What started as an online festival to help keep SA’s music community connected during COVID has blossomed into one of the most exciting events in the South Australian calendar. It’s gone from strength to strength, even taking out a SA Music Award for ‘Best Small Festival/Event’ back to back in 2021 and 2022.
Presale tickets to Space Jams go on sale tomorrow at 10am for 24 hours (or until sold out). General admission tickets are available from August 1 at 10am. You can grab tickets here.
