Shred Fest 2026 organisers, Your Mate Bookings, have announced a special offer: $60 tickets for the next 60 hours!

This is an absolute steal considering this year's lineup, which is headlined by Germany’s extreme metal outfit Obscura and American technical brutes Fallujah.

Joining these international juggernauts are Perth’s death-doom purveyors Ashen and Sydney's old school death metal champions Anoxia. The lineup will also feature a host of local bands from each city the festival hits.

Shred Fest kicks off in Perth at The Rosemount on Thursday 3 September, followed by dates at Adelaide's Lion Arts Factory on Friday 4 September, Brisbane's Soapbox on Saturday 5 September, Canberra's The Baso on Wednesday 9 September, Sydney's Manning Bar on Thursday 10 September, Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Friday 11 September and Darwin's The Ampitheatre on Sunday 13 September.

The festival then heads to New Zealand for three dates, taking over Whammy in Auckland on Tuesday 15 September, Wellington's Valhalla on Wednesday 16 September and Christchurch's Churchill's Tavern on Thursday 17 September, before wrapping up in Hobart at Altar Bar on Saturday 19 September.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now at yourmatebookings.com and shredfest.net.

"We're thrilled to bring Shred Fest to Australia in 2026 alongside the crushing talents of Fallujah, Anoxia, and Ashen," Obscura revealed in a statement. "It's been a long time coming, and we're ready to deliver a relentless set for our fans down under. No VIP packages — every band will be at the venue to meet you, talk music, and celebrate the most extreme sounds around. Come early, stay late, and support every act. We can’t wait to see you all there."

Fallujah added, "We're stoked to announce that Fallujah will return to Australia once again in 2026, this time alongside prog metal legends OBSCURA! We can’t wait to head back down under with a heavy selection of songs from our new album, Xenotaph. These shows will be crazy; get your tickets now before they sell out!"

"What an honour and experience to share the stage and make memories with Obscura, Fallujah and Ashen for Shred Fest Australia 2026," said noxia. "Bringing people together, showcasing a variety of extreme metal for all to enjoy. Embrace musical diversity, witness the barrage of brutality!"

Ashen also commented, "Ashen are stoked to announce our inclusion in Shred Fest Australia 2026, sharing the stage with Obscura, Fallujah, and Anoxia. This is an insane lineup, and we can't wait to join this demolition team."

Shred Fest takes over Lion Arts Factory on Friday 4 September. $60 tickets are on sale for the next 60 hours via moshtix.com.au.
