Perth’s Salt Tree have revealed their latest single, ‘I’ll Be Here’, taken from the duo’s forthcoming EP, Swell.
Taking to social media to announce the tune, Salt Tree posted a snippet of ‘I’ll Be Here’ along with the comment: “This song is really special for us and we can’t wait to play it for you on tour!”
A rollicking acoustic ditty with a foot-tapping beat and soothing harmonies from Tom Boerema and Nathan Parsons, ‘I’ll Be Here’ is another top-notch release from Salt Tree. The song follows previously released singles ‘Follow Me in the Ocean’, ‘Dreaming of a Future’ and ‘Take My Hand’, all of which will feature on Swell.
Not only are Salt Tree preparing for the release of their new EP, but the lads are heading out on tour this October. They’ve pencilled in 15 dates across the country including stops in Bunbury, Newcastle, Ballarat, Melbourne, Adelaide and Margaret River.
Tickets for all dates are on sale now here.
Salt Tree have been performing together for over five years, luring in fans with their heartfelt lyrics and soulful harmonies coming together on tracks such as ‘Out of the Water’ and ‘Sparkly Socks’. Their take on Bruce Springsteen’s ‘I’m On Fire’ is also well worth a listen.
Amassing close to 800,000 monthly listens and over 10 million streams since dropping their 2020 debut single, ‘She’s The One’, Salt Tree have firmly established themselves as one of the country’s top folk acts.
Once they’ve completed their Aussie tour, the duo head off overseas, with shows booked across Europe.
Catch Salt Tree at the Grace Emily on Sunday, October 27. Tickets on sale now via Oztix.
