Indie folk singer-songwriter Riley Pearce has announced a national tour in support of his just released sophomore album, It’s Your Turn Now.
Containing the singles ‘Indefinitely’, ‘How Will I Know’, ‘Slow This Down’, ‘Only You’, and ‘Human’, the album explores relationships and fatherhood across 11 absorbing tracks.
Inspired by contemporaries including The Teskey Brothers, Leon Bridges, Ziggy Alberts and LifeHouse, Pearce crafts intimate and soulful tunes about his life experiences that resonate with listeners.
Excited to perform songs from his new album live, the Perth artist embarks on his Australian tour this August, kicking things off at Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall in Brisbane on Thursday, August 8.
Pearce then has gigs lined up in Melbourne at Brunswick Ballroom on Friday, August 9, The Great Club in Sydney on Saturday, August 10, The Grace Emily in Adelaide on Sunday, August 11 and The Rosemount in Perth on Friday, 23 August.
The final two shows of the tour take place in Pearce’s home state, with the folk singer performing at The River in Margaret River on Saturday, 24 August and Froth Craft Brewery in Bunbury on Sunday, 25 August.
Tickets for Pearce’s Australian tour are on sale now via rileypearce.com.au.

The announcement of the tour also coincides with the release of Pearce’s latest single, ‘Losing Light’. The track is about helping out your other half when it comes to looking after a new child.
“You’re up all night tired and trying to figure out how looking after a baby works,” Riley tells Good Call Live when discussing the song. “This song is about checking in with your partner and making sure they’re okay. You’re just trying to be as supportive as you can in that time and give that person what they need to be able to handle their day.”
Beginning his career in 2016 with the release of his debut EP, Outside the Lines, Pearce has amassed over 100 million streams globally. His 2022 debut album, The Water & The Rough, was hailed as “a magnificent album of raw alt-folk warmth and intimate connection” by Atwood Magazine.
Having toured the world and played international festivals including Latitude (UK) and PinkPop (Netherlands), Pearce is ready to unveil his new album for Aussie fans in the live arena this August.
