Public Enemy have cancelled their Adelaide tour date due to “unforeseen scheduling issues” according to a statement from promoter TEG Live posted on the Ticketek website. Not only are the duo bailing on Adelaide, but Public Enemy has canned shows in Perth and Newcastle.
The full statement reads: “TEG Live regretfully advise that the Public Enemy shows in Perth, Adelaide & Newcastle have been cancelled due to unforeseen scheduling issues.
“All purchased tickets will receive a full refund. Tickets will be automatically refunded in full (including refundable ticket purchase, if relevant) to the original payment method used for purchase and patrons do not need to take any action.”
This is a big blow to fans of Public Enemy who rose to fame in the 80s with albums Yo! Bum Rush The Show and It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.
Those desperate to see the hip hop group will have to head interstate, with tickets still available for their Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows.
Full ticketing information is available via Ticketek.
