Sydney garage duo Polish Club are heading out on the road this October in support of their forthcoming new album, Heavy Weight Heart.
Dropping September 13 (pre-order here), the band’s fourth studio album is also their first as an independent act, having parted ways with Universal last year.
So far Polish Club has shared three singles from the album, the dreamy ‘Manila’, lo-fi rocker ‘Heavyweight’ and their most recent winner ‘How Dare You Fall in Love in This City’, with all three showing a maturing in the band’s songwriting.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Heavy Weight Heart, Polish Club is embarking on a national tour this October.
The first stop on the tour is Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Saturday, October 5. The duo then perform at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on Thursday, October 10 followed by a gig at Night Cat in Melbourne on Friday, October 11. The tour ends with a bang at The Brightside in Brisbane on Saturday, October 12.
Tickets are on sale now via polishclub.co.

It’s been a big 12 months for Polish Club’s David Novak and John-Henry Pajak. As well as splitting from their label, the two both got married to their long-term partners while Novak suffered health issues and had to undergo open heart surgery.
Thankfully he’s all good now as the two prepare to unveil their new album to the world next month.
