Aussie guitar virtuoso Plini is touring with support from Delta Sleep, Cenobia and Night Dive.

Sydney singer, songwriter and guitarist Plini, better known to his parents as Plini Roessler-Holgate, is embarking on a tour of Australia and New Zealand this August.
Fresh from the release of his third album An Unnameable Desire, which is also his first album in six years, Plini will perform tracks from across his catalogue, taking audiences on an immersive journey through intricate compositions and soaring melodies.
Joining Plini on tour are UK math-rock favourites Delta Sleep, mysterious independent solo artist Cenobia and Aussie newcomers nightdive.
The tour kicks off in Australia with concerts at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Thursday 6 August, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Friday 7 August, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday 8 August, Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Sunday 9 August and Perth’s Magnet House on Tuesday 11 August. Plini then makes his way to New Zealand for two shows at Auckland’s Double Whammy on Friday 14 August and Wellington’s San Fran on Saturday 15 August.

Heavily influenced by Joe Satriani, Plini began his career releasing music under the alias Halcyon before switching to his first name.
Gaining recognition for his trilogy of EPs, Other Things (2013), Sweet Nothings (2013) and The End of Everything (2015), Plini’s debut album, Handmade Cities (2016), was highly praised, leading to the follow-up Impulse Voices (2020).
The prog rocker, known for his electrifying stage shows, has toured the globe and performed alongside the likes of Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Tesseract, Intervals and many more.
