Listen Out and its sister festival Listen In return in 2024. This is great news for music fans who have had their fair share of heartbreak this year with the cancellation of festivals like Splendour in the Grass and Groovin’ the Moo.
The much loved hip hop and electronic festival will take place in September and October, with Listen Out lined up for Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney and Listen In scheduled for Adelaide and Auckland.
All dates for this year’s Listen Out/In will be 16+, bar the Auckland show which is 18+. The first leg of Listen Out hits Caribbean Gardens in Melbourne on Friday, September 27 before heading to HBF Arena in Perth on Saturday, September 28, RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane on Saturday, October 5 and Centennial Park in Sydney on Sunday, October 6.
Sandwiched in between the above dates is Listen In, the smaller version of the festival which occurs at Ellis Park in Adelaide on Sunday, September 29 and Go Media Stadoum Mt Smart in Aukland on Friday, October 4.
“It’s been a very tough time for the Australian music festival industry, and we are thrilled to be back in 2024, welcoming returning and first-time attendees through the gates,” Listen Out promoters said in a statement.
The full lineup along with further details regarding tickets will be released in the coming weeks. If it’s anything like last year’s event, which featured Skrillex, Four Tet, Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert and more, expect another cracking lineup of local and international artists.
