Since arriving on the Aussie heavy scene in 2010, King Parrot has established themselves as one of the country’s great grindcore acts. They released their debut album, Bite Your Head Off, in 2012, and followed this with 2015s Dead Set and 2017s Ugly Produce, both of which peaked at #21 on the ARIA Album Charts.
While their albums have sold well, it’s the live shows that lift King Parrot above their peers, with the band’s wild fusion of thrash metal and hardcore punk creating a wild atmosphere of headbanging aggression that often causes carnage.
Support Weedeater make their return to Australia after an eight-year absence and are excited to unleash their doom-laden riffs on punters across the nation. They will be joined by Sydney's heavy groove exponents Astrodeath and Melbourne’s ruthless underground metal crazies Choof, who round out the When the Weed Meets the Speed tour.
