Signing with Republic Records and releasing his debut studio album Black Ben Carson in 2016, JPEGMAFIA has continued to evolve as a songwriter, rapper and producer over the past eight years.
His most recent release was last year’s collaborative LP with Danny Brown, Scaring the Hoes, which is also his most successful project to date, both critically and commercially. CLASH gave the album a perfect score and called it “sensationally good” while The Guardian called Scaring the Hoes “smart but chaotic, funny but disturbing.”
While details are scarce when it comes to Peggy’s forthcoming fifth album, the record is expected to arrive sometime before the end of the year, with JPEGMAFIA dropping the album’s first single, ‘don’t rely on other men’, a few weeks back.
