Highly touted indie five-piece horse have unveiled their highly anticipated debut EP, Ask me again next year.
The six-track release pairs garage rock influences with post-punk melodies and includes the singles ‘Under Your Sun’ and ‘gloss’ alongside the focus track ‘Birthmark’, a fuzzy, shoegaze number with plenty of soul.
To celebrate the release of Ask me again next year, the group have announced a run of shows across July and August.
horse kick off their Ask me again next year EP tour with a secret show in Newcastle on Saturday 25 July. The band then plays shows at Canberra’s Blank Cultural Platform on Saturday 1 August, Adelaide’s UniBar on Friday 7 August, Melbourne’s The Evelyn on Saturday 8 August, Port Kembla’s The Servo on Friday 14 August and Sydney’s Chippo Downstairs on Saturday 15 August, with the final show at Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on Saturday 22 August.

horse, comprising Mason Cappiello, Jordan Snowden, Freddie Heslin, Jakob Roxby and Fergus Beahan-Gof, formed in 2024 and quickly found an audience after their music was picked up by triple j.
