‘Swimsuit’ is emerging singer-songwriter Holly Hebe’s first taste of new music in 2026.
The pulsating pop track is driven by a melodic piano line and Hebe’s poetic lyricism, with the track exploring the feelings you have when crushing on someone, but also realisae that things might not work out the way you want.
“‘Swimsuit’ was inspired by the Y2K pool party aesthetic, high school parties and intoxicating crushes,” explains Hebe. “It’s an upbeat take on impending heartbreak diluted with lust and flirtation. I wanted to focus on simple production, with layered vocals and a driving beat to support the staccato verse melody. I had so much fun making this song with Ethan, we smashed it out in a day with barely any changes since then.”
