Bong Coffin – ‘Sietchman’
As per the Dune universe, a “sietch” is a belowground encampment lived in by the Fremen people that provides shelter in dangerous times. A “sietchman” is in-all-probability a Fremen warrior, and in this doom metal epic by Bong Coffin, the desert soldier is about to undertake combat to defend his community. Incorporate a soundtrack that fuses the grand post-metal of Cult Of Luna, with elements of Black Sabbath to this imagery, there lies the perfect sandworm riding composition of magnificent monstrosity.
