Oscar and Grammy-winning composer Hans Zimmer is bringing his new stage show, Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level, to Australian shores this October.
The production features a newly designed stage setup and blends electronic music with powerful orchestration, reflecting Zimmer’s pursuit of experimentation.
“I want fans to feel like they’re at a rave party or riding a roller coaster,” explains Zimmer. “For me, every show is a new voyage of discovery. The greatest challenge is the status quo – you have to do everything in your power to leave it behind and find and create something new.”
Zimmer will perform alongside a 19-piece band and the esteemed Australian vocalist Lisa Gerrard, amongst other singers. Having already wowed fans in Europe, performing 50 sold-out shows across 17 countries, Zimmer’s Aussie jaunt begins at Perth’s RAC Arena on Monday 12 October. The esteemed composer then performs at Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Thursday 15 October, Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brizzy on Tuesday 20 October and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 24 October, wrapping things up in Sydney at Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday 28 October.
