Perth singer-songwriter Darcie Haven has announced her debut Australian tour. Taking place this August, Haven’s Angel of the Apocalypse tour takes in five capital cities across the country.
The tour comes in support of Haven’s upcoming sophomore EP, Angel of the Apocalypse, which arrives July 30 (pre-order here). Taking to Instagram to announce the album, Haven posted:
“My second EP Angel of the Apocalypse is out July 30th. I have never been this excited and proud in my life and u can pre-order it on vinyl (!!!) right now.
”I wrote these six songs sitting in the rubble of bad decisions. It’s ambitious and dark and dramatic, and I’m so proud of it. Visually and sonically I’ve neverrr felt more like myself, and I hope u can feel it.
”I made every song with @edvard.hakansson and there’s a seventh bonus trackkkk only available on the physical copies. Every vinyl pre-order is signed and the link is in my bio. I can’t wait until it’s in ur hands and oh yes Doomsday is out now !!!!!!”
Haven’s tour begins at Perth’s The Y HQ on Friday 15 August and continues with dates at Adelaide’s The Austral on Saturday 16 August, Melbourne’s Leadbeater on Saturday 23 August and Sydney’s Metro Social on Friday 29 August, with the final gig taking place at Brisbane’s The Outpost on Sunday 31 August.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Wednesday 25 July at 3:30pm local time via this link.

Raised on a farm in a remote area of WA, Darcie Haven learned how to sing and play the guitar while listening to Missy Higgins and Taylor Swift.
Floating between indie bedroom vibes and grungy upbeat pop, Haven’s 2024 EP Better Left Unsaid was widely acclaimed and led to the songstress supporting the likes of Vance Joy, DMAs, Birds of Tokyo, San Cisco and Alex Lahey.
“I try to write as honestly as possible, not glaze over any sharp edges or cracks. I want to make music that feels like it’s been stolen straight from my journal, you know?” says Haven.
