Irish singer-songwriter Dan McCabe returns for his third tour of Australia this July.
One of Ireland’s most compelling modern voices, he blends traditional Irish ballads with contemporary folk, crafting heartfelt songs that resonate with audiences across the globe.
McCabe is touring in support of his 2025 album, My Heart’s Tonight In Ireland. His sixth studio album is a celebration of Irish music, heritage and storytelling, with McCabe performing tracks from the album alongside fan favourites on this tour.
Kicking things off at Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on Friday 3 July, McCabe then performs at Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday 4 July, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Sunday 5 July, Hobart’s Altar on Wednesday 8 July and Adelaide’s Jive on Friday 10 July, with the final show occurring at Perth’s Magnet House on Saturday 11 July.

Folk music is in Dan McCabe’s blood, with the singer-songwriter coming from a long lineage of Irish performers. Beginning his career as a youth, McCabe’s popularity exploded during lockdown when he released songs on YouTube, quickly garnering more than 50 million views in three months.
He’s gone on to release six albums, with last year’s My Heart’s Tonight In Ireland recorded over five days at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin.
