Strict Face – Severe Forward
Adelaide sweetheart Strict Face returns this year to release his debut album Severe Forward. Full of rolling polyrhythms, off-kilter hits and sounds that emulate auditory hallucinations, the LP continues to push the boundary of contemporary dance music while defining a noise that’s uniquely the artist's own. Severe Forward creates a chaotically driving atmosphere where all the pieces are falling into exactly the right place. Personal faves include ‘Bellyache’, ‘The Frost Escapes our Breath’, ‘Slow Strobe’ and ‘Balmy Eternal’.
