The acoustic ditty marks a change in direction for the Brisbane indie group.

‘Like Love’ is the new acoustic single from Brisbane favourites Ball Park Music. A change in direction from their usual jovial indie material, ‘Like Love’ has a Bob Dylan-esque quality, with Ball Park Music frontman Sam Cromack crooning about the highs and lows of being in love.
Discussing the tune, Cromack says: “‘Like Love’ is one of those songs that comes out of nowhere. I was up late, nearly ready to call it, and it appeared. It seemed to write itself and feel so complete from the first moment. Songs mostly don’t behave like this. This song is that little voice, the one that is quiet and true, trying to pierce through the screeching, forceful clamour of life to remind you of what really matters.”
The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Jason Tran featuring Cromack performing the song on the edge of a cliff as the sun rises behind him.
