It’s time to dust off your favourite Aussie band tee as Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is getting closer.
The folks behind the fundraising organisation, Support Act, have revealed Thursday, November 28 as the day to deck yourself out in Australian band merch. Taking to Instagram to announce the day, Support Act, wrote:
“Start dusting off your favourite Aussie music tee because Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is returning on Thursday, 28 November!
“Head to the link in bio now to register your interest and be among the first to receive updates about all the fun things happening this year. We look forward to having you on board!”

While you might think Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is just a good excuse to wear your most-played Aussie band’s tee to work, it’s actually an important fundraising initiative that raised a record-breaking $904,656 for charity last year.
All the funds raised by Ausmusic T-Shirt Day go towards crisis relief, mental health and wellbeing support to musicians, managers, crew, music workers and organisations, along with support for First Nations music workers.
So what can you do to support Ausmusic T-Shirt Day? The simplest thing to do is buy a T-shirt from an Aussie band you love, but if you really want to help raise funds for the charity then head over to the Ausmusic T-Shirt Day website and grab a tee from their selection of exclusive merch.
You’ll find unique band tees feature designs celebrating Aussie acts such as Cold Chisel, Gang of Youths, GFlip, Nick Cave, Kylie Minogue and more.
