Adelaide pop starlet aleksiah returns with new single ‘Bullshit, Baby!’, her first taste of new music in 2026.
Taken from her upcoming EP Good On Paper, which drops in May, ‘Bullshit, Baby!’ is a tasty pop morsel featuring aleksiah’s cheeky pop sensibilities that takes shots at those who do the bare minimum in a relationship.
“There seems to be an unintentional theme with putting curse words in my songs, but I think being in a relationship with someone that puts in no effort just makes you wanna call out someone’s ‘bullshit’,” says alekisah. “I wrote ‘Bullshit, Baby!’ about demanding respect and knowing your worth when you seem to find yourself in relationships with people that don’t really want to be there, which I think is somewhere we’ve all been before.
“We had a lot of fun in the studio putting this track together and channelled some country twang so I hope that everyone that listens to it feels that fun, and maybe even feels encouraged to tell their toxic situationship to f off.”
Not only has aleksiah shared a new track, but the rising star has announced a run of shows across the country performing songs from her upcoming EP, along with fan favs.
