Oz Comic-Con Reveals 2024 Superstar Lineup

This year’s Oz Comic-Con features a huge lineup of special guests from the world of TV, movies, comics and Cosplay, headlined by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito.

The lineup for this year’s Adelaide leg of the annual Oz Comic-Con fest has been revealed, with Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul actor Giancarlo Esposito leading the way.

The accomplished actor, who also had notable roles in TV series The Gentlemen, Godfather of Harlem, The Mandalorian and The Boys, and movies including MaXXXine and Captain America: Brave New World, will be signing autographs and chatting with fans during this year’s event, which is held from Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 1 at Adelaide Showgrounds.

The huge day of panels, signings, photos, cosplay, workshops and more also includes beloved UK actress Catherine Tate, star of the hilarious comedy The Catherine Tate Show, and Brandon Rogers, the voice behind Blitzø in Helluva Boss.

Also making their presence felt are voice actors Laila Berzins (Genshin Impact, Diablo IV, Arcane) and Ratana (Fire Emblem: Heroes, Monster Hunter), alongside the creators of Cyanide & Happiness, Rob DenBleyker and Kris Wilson, with Producer and Head of Creative, Adam Nusrallah.

If that’s not enough, writers and directors Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese, the duo responsible for Lesbian Space Princess, will be hosting a lively Q&GAY session that’s not to be missed.

Anyone who has been to Oz Comic-Con knows it’s not just signings and autographs, with the show floor home to interactive gaming zones, immersive installations, celebrity panels and workshops.

This year, expect a huge array of local and international comic artists and authors in attendance, slinging their wares and taking the time to chat about their work and the comic industry.

Artist Alley will once again be the place to visit for those looking to splash some cash on original art, prints, and one-of-a-kind creations, while Creators Live is a new addition with a focus on content creators led by online sensation Rhyleep.

The Oz Comic-Con Championships of Cosplay returns and is expected to attract the best SA cosplayers who are vying for the title of State Champion, along with a cool cash prize of $1,500.
