Lano & Woodley Announce ‘In Space’ 2027 Australian Tour

Following the success of their latest comedy show In Space, which was a huge hit at this year's Adelaide Fringe, Lano & Woodley have revealed they are taking the show back on the road in 2027.

Directed by Eddie Perfect, the hour of physical comedy finds the bickering duo trapped in a spaceship alone, or are they?

Speaking on the new tour, Colin Lane says, "We’ve had a great run so far with Lano & Woodley in Space, and the response has been amazing. But after all this travelling together, I'm starting to think the show should now be called Lano Needs Space."

Frank Woodley adds, "We've been touring the show for the last few months and unfortunately only one of the jokes is funny. Fortunately, it's so funny the audience laugh for an hour after we tell it."

Lano & Woodley's In Space begins with a residency at the Sydney Opera House from Tuesday 2 to Sunday 14 February, followed by shows in Mandurah, Albany, Bunbury, Townsville, Port Macquarie, Caloundra, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Logan, Adelaide, Ballarat, Thirroul, Warragul, Bendigo, Wangaratta, Albury, Cairns, QLD and Wyong, finishing up on Saturday 9 October at the Lighthouse Theatre in Warrnambool.

Australian comedy favourites Colin Lane and Frank Woodley have been performing together for almost four decades.

Breaking through as the comedy trio The Found Objects with Scott Casley, three became two in 1994, with Lano & Woodley's first show going on to win the prestigious Perrier Award for best comedy in Edinburgh, making Lano & Woodley only the second Australian artists to win the award at that time.

The duo have gone on to have bucket loads of success, selling out tours, appearing on TV and even winning an ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release in 2006.
