Emma Memma Extends Her ‘Dance Island Party’ Australian Tour

Catch Emma Memma performing all her biggest hits at Adelaide’s Norwood Concert Hall and Mt. Gambier’s Wehl Street Theatre this month.

Australia’s favourite children’s entertainer Emma Memma has announced an extended run of shows in support of her new album, Dance Island Party.

The former Wiggle will treat fans young and old to a set of classic songs that featured in her hugely successful 2024 Boop and Twirl Tour, along with a slew of new favourites taken from her lastest album, including ‘Coconut Tree’, ‘Dance Island’, ‘Beach Trolley’, and ‘Jellyfish Blob’.

Empowering the next generation of little ones through dance, music, and sign language, Emma will be joined on stage by her friends Elvin Melvin, BB Butterfly, Waffles the Wombat, and her Memma Mates.

Each Dance Island Party performance goes for 45 minutes and includes an Auslan interpreter, with Emma and Elvin also signing throughout the show.

Emma’s Dance Island Party Australian tour began in April and continues throughout July, with two SA performances taking place at Norwood Concert Hall on Wednesday 9 July and Mt. Gambier’s Wehl Street Theatre on Friday 11 July. A raft of new dates have been added from September to October, with tickets to all shows on sale now via livenation.com.au.

Raised on a diet of dance from a young age, Emma Memma, real name Emma Watkins, studied at The McDonald College for the Performing Arts, Sydney Film School, ED5 International and the University of Technology Sydney, where her passion for dance and music came to the fore.

Having also earned a master’s in Media Arts and Communication and completed her Diploma of Auslan (Australian Sign Language), Emma joined The Wiggles in 2010. At first, her role was more as an extra, but in 2012, she replaced founding member Greg Page as the Yellow Wiggle. It didn’t take long for Emma to become a favourite, leading to her own spin-off series, Emma.

After more than a decade as a member of The Wiggles, Emma went her own way in 2021, embarking on what has become a massively successful solo career as a children’s entertainer. She’s released four albums, including 2022’s ARIA Award-winning Emma Memma and this year’s Dance Island Party, written a handful of books and runs a hugely popular YouTube channel with over 66K subscribers.

Dropping into South Australia for two shows this month, Emma Memma’s Dance Island Party spectacular is not to be missed!
