
Atsuko Okatsuka Announces ‘The Big Bowl’ Australian and New Zealand Tour 2026

The award winning comic is touring down under this August.
American stand-up Atsuko Okatsuka makes her Australian and New Zealand return this August.
Currently touring the States, Okatsuka’s The Big Bowl Tour arrives after the release of her second stand-up special, Father, which recently premiered on Disney+.
The LA-based comedian is excited to be heading our way, announcing six headline shows, kicking things off in New Zealand at Auckland’s Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre on Saturday 15 August.
Then Okatsuake is off to Australia for gigs at Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on Sunday 16 August, Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Tuesday 18 August, Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Wednesday 19 August, Sydney’s Tik Tok Entertainment Centre on Friday 21 August, and finally, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Saturday 22 August.

Born in Taiwan, raised in Japan and now living in America, Okatsuka has been a comedian for close to two decades.
Falling in love with stand-up after watching a Margaret Cho DVD as a youngster, Okatsuka got her start playing comedy clubs across the States, leading to the release of her first HBO stand-up special, The Intruder, which was named Best Debut Special of 2022 by the New York Times.
Last year saw the release of her second special, Father, and the completion of her Full Grown tour. Beginning in 2024, Okatsuka sold out over 200 shows in more than 100 cities across 20+ countries, with the comic excited to bring her new show to Australia and New Zealand later this year.
