South African-New Zealand comedian Urzila Carlson is back and ready to make audiences laugh out loud with her new show, Fatty on a Yacht.
After selling over 86,500 tickets to her You Don’t Say tour across Australia earlier this year, the deadpan comic’s new show finds her addressing what it’s like to feel like you don’t belong. As she commented on social media, “Have you ever felt out of place, like a sausage at a vegan picnic? Or a fatty on a yacht? Good. You’ll love this show!”
Carlson’s run of Aussie dates begins with a residency at Palais Theatre in Melbourne from Tuesday 7 April to Sunday 19 April. The stand-up then hits the road and performs in Tamworth, Hobart, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Adelaide, Wollongong, Newcastle, Townsville, Cairns and Sydney, before her final gig at Darwin’s Convention Centre on Monday 31 August.
