Larrikin comedian Carl Baron is back with his brand new stand-up show, Just Wondering Why.
One of the country’s finest comedians, the award-winning Baron consistently sells out tours both here and abroad and has released eight comedy specials, with his most recent being 2023’s hilarious Carl Barron: Skating Rink For Flies.
Touring across the nation in 2026, Baron’s new show promises to be a laugh-filled evening of observational comedy from the quirky, bald-headed comic.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, Baron warned fans to “bring a change of pants because there’s gonna be damage.”
Baron’s Just Wondering Why Australian tour kicks off with a special show in Newcastle at the Entertainment Centre on Saturday 13 December. He then performs at Perth’s Riverside Theatre from Saturday 31 January to Wednesday 4 February, Brisbane’s Queensland Performing Arts Centre from Saturday 28 February to Wednesday 11 March, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre from Friday 22 May to Sunday 31 May and Adelaide’s Festival Centre from Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 12 July, before wrapping up his tour at Sydney’s State Theatre from Tuesday 18 August to Sunday 30 August.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via carlbarron.com.

The son of a sheep shearer, Carl Baron started life as a roof tiler before finding his calling as a stand-up comic after taking the stage at an open mic night at the Harold Park Hotel on the Gold Coast in the early ‘90s.
Since being awarded Comic of the Year and Best Up and Coming Talent in 1993, Baron has forged a hugely successful career as a comedian thanks to his relatable, everyman style of observational comedy.
Not only is he one of Australia’s leading stand-ups, but the laconic Baron has conquered stages across the globe, selling out shows in North America, the UK, South Africa, Auckland, Ireland, Singapore, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Edinburgh.
Catch Carl Baron performing at Adelaide Festival Centre from Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 12 July. Tickets on sale via carlbarron.com.
