Adelaide Supanova Returns This December with Another Huge Lineup
This year’s event features appearances from Anthony Daniels, Martin Kove and James Marsters.

Pop culture festival Supanova returns to Adelaide this December for its 99th edition. Two decades on since the first Supanova in Brisbane, the event has become arguably the country’s biggest pop culture festival celebrating everything movies, TV, video games and Cosplay.
The Adelaide leg of Supanova returns to the Showgrounds on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 with an epic lineup of special guests, Cosplay displays, pop-up exhibitions and more.
Headling Supanova Adelaide is C-3PO himself, Anthony Daniels, the only actor to feature in every Star Wars theatrical release since 1977. He will be joined by MythBusters co-host Adam Savage, Buffy the Vampire star James Marsters, Cobra Kai villain Martin Kove, One Piece actor Steven John Ward and Australia’s very own David Wenham, who played Faramir in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
Also appearing are Lord of the Rings alumni Miranda Otto, comic book artist Phil Noto, Wolf Creek serial killer Jeff Jarratt, former Home & Away star Lincoln Lewis and voice actors Roger Craig Smith (Sonic), Patricia Summersett (The Legend of Zelda) and Veronica Taylor (Pokémon).
This year’s Supanova will feature Cosplay competitions and several special exhibitions, panels and events that will be revealed in the coming months in the lead-up to the two-day carnival.
