Aussie larrikin Steve Hughes returns to Adelaide as part of the 2025 Fringe, performing nine shows at the Underground Comedy Club.
The tour (which also includes shows across NSW), comes after Hughes suffered a major health scare at the end of 2024.
Feeling a little off one day in early November, Hughes decided to check himself into a Sydney hospital. It turned out to be the best decision of his life after he was quickly admitted and underwent major open heart surgery to have a worn-out value replaced.
Now back fighting fit, Hughes is touring SA and NSW with his Sheer Heart Attack tour, kicking things off with nine stand-up shows at Adelaide’s Underground Comey Club from Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 16.
Hughes then has dates lined up at Dicey Riley’s in Wollongong on Thursday, March 27, the Newcastle Hotel in Newcastle on Friday, March 28, Wamberal’s Ocean View Beach Club on Saturday, March 29 and Canberra’s The Baso on Thursday, April 3, before he wraps things up at Penrith’s Tattersalls Hotel on Friday, April 4.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via stevehughes.net.
