Cult American comedy horror podcast Last Podcast on the Left is bringing the scares (and the laughs) to Australia this year with a live stage version of their highly successful pod.
The podcast covers everything from serial killers and demonic possessions to conspiracy theories and UFO sightings, exploring both real life and imagined horror.
Launched in 2011, the podcast was originally a conversation between friends about horror movies – the title Last Podcast on the Left is a homage to Wes Craven’s 1972 classic Last House on the Left – before they began discussing real life horrors and other spooky topics.
Having built a massive audience over the past 15 years, Last Podcast on the Left often perform live and is finally bringing their live tour to Australia this August.
The tour begins in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on Thursday, August 8. The trio then performs live at The Plenary in Melbourne on Saturday, August 10, the Powerhouse Theatre in Brisbane on Tuesday, August 13 and Norwood Theatre in Adelaide on Friday, August 16. The final leg of the tour takes place in Perth at the Astor Theatre on Saturday, August 17.
All of the shows are 18+ bar Sydney and Adelaide which are all-ages gigs.
Tickets for all five shows are on sale now via Last Podcast on the Left’s website.

Longtime friends Marcus Parks (producer and researcher), Henry Zebrowski (comedian and actor) and Ed Larson (comedian) host two weekly shows, one main episode and a side episode, where they dive deep into weird and horrifying topics that have included Jeffrey Dahmer, werewolves, aliens, the Salem Witch Trials, haunted dolls and more.
The pod has also welcomed an array of special guests over the years, including known UFO believer Dan Aykroyd.
Along with their podcast, the trio has created a DC horror comic book, hosted a radio show and released the book, The Last Book on the Left.
