Funnyman Daniel Muggleton is bringing his new show, You May Be White, I May Be Crazy, to venues across Australia from September to December.

The red tracksuit-wearing comedian, known for engaging crowd work and self-deprecating humour, has locked in a massive 35 dates, performing in seven out of eight states and territories.

Muggleton’s new show is influenced by fatherhood, with the acclaimed comic having become a dad for the first time last year.

“Hello, I’m Daniel Muggleton, I’m the guy. I just wanted to let you know that, unlike previous years, there’s a chance this show is about something,” Muggleton said in a statement ahead of the tour. “If I had to choose a word to describe what that is, I’d say ‘family,’ but remember, the Fast & Furious franchise is also about family, so there’s an equal chance this show is about street racing or about me finally becoming a father. Cheers.”

Exploring the challenges of becoming a parent, Muggleton added, “I finally became a father after years of trying. We had a son, which I didn’t want because it’s now my responsibility to teach him how to be a man and I don’t know what that means in 2025.”

The show also touches on Muggleton’s time living in the UK and the impact it has on him. “Australians love to move overseas… for a bit. Very few of us move permanently because, well, we realise how good we have it back home. But living overseas is a great experience because that’s how you learn what’s Australian and what’s normal - which isn’t necessarily the same thing.”

Muggleton’s You May Be White, I May Be Crazy tour kicks off at Adelaide’s Arthur Art Bar on Saturday 13 September and hits a host of city centres and regional towns, including Wollongong, Perth, Toowoomba, Seaford, Ballarat, Mudgee and Katoomba, before the final date at Sydney’s Foundry Theatre on Saturday 20 December.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via danielmuggleton.com.au.
