The second WOMADelaide 2026 artist lineup is here, and we are already getting pumped for what promises to be another epic four days of music at Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla over the March long weekend (6-9).
Italian pop icon Jovanotti will headline the opening night, while hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development and African vocalist and activist Oumou Sangaré will perform exclusively at the festival.
Also announced are Canadian jazz-fusion outfit BADBADNOTGOOD, Netherlands via New Zealand blues-funk trio MY BABY, American gospel family band Annie & The Caldwells and psychedelic Amsterdam-based six-piece Nusantara Beat.
Music lovers can also catch sets from Fantastic Negrito, KAIIT, Mama Kin Spender and Alcides Neto and more, with a total of 20 new artists revealed.
These artists join what is already a stacked lineup featuring legendary Aussie act Yothu Yindi, Yolngu rapper and dancer Baker Boy, American singer-songwriter Iron & Wine, Irish folk band Beoga, Afro-funk innovator Obongjayar, 82-year-old First Nations gospel singer Kankawa Nagarra and many more.
Next year’s edition of the festival will feature more than 600 artists in 69 groups from 38 countries, highlighting the diversity of WOMADelaide and why it is constantly rated as one of the world’s best festivals.

Speaking on the new additions, WOMADelaide director Ian Scobie said, “We are delighted to announce these amazing artists joining us in the finishing touches to our lineup, to grace the WOMADelaide stages over the March long weekend. Whether you’re already a fan or getting to know these artists for the first time, WOMADelaide 2026 is ready for you.”
WOMAD founder Peter Gabriel added, “It's brilliant to have an audience that cares so much about what WOMAD is, could be, and stands for. In a world in which many bad actors seem to be achieving power by fanning the flames of hatred, racism and division, a meeting place for all the world’s cultures and dreams, built on mutual respect, seems all the more precious.”
WOMADelaide is held on Kaurna Land at Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla from Friday 6 March to Monday 9 March. Tickets on sale now via womadeliade.com.
