Strung Out Announce Supports for 30th Anniversary ‘Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues’ Tour

Cali punk greats Strung Out are heading down under this September to celebrate 30 years of their landmark sophomore album, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues.

Just weeks out from the tour commencing, Strung Out have revealed the local tour supports for each city.

Pub punk outfit Radsalad have got the call-up for the Perth gig, hardcore punk locals Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys are playing Adelaide, garage rockers Dad Fight will take to the stage in Brizzy, melodic trio Something Something Explosion have been tapped to play the Gold Coast, energetic underground act Deadheat are performing in Caloundra, punk rockers Wiseheimer are supporting in Wollongong and Irrelevant get the nod for the final concert in Sydney.

The tour comes in celebration of the band's 1996 album, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues, a racoucous 32 minute colection of melodic punk pop anthems that pushed Strung Out into the mainstream.

Strung Out will perform the majority of tracks from Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues, along with crowd favourites and hits from their deep catalogue.

The current lineup of founding members Jason Cruc (vocals) and Rob Ramos (guitars), alongside Chris Aiken (guitar), Derik Envy (bass) and Daniel Blume (drums), can't wait to touch down and perform for their Aussie fans next month.
