After dropping a teaser video last week, Queens of the Stone Age have confirmed the release of their forthcoming new album, Perfecth, dropping Friday 30 October via Matador.

Accompanied by a hilarious video trailer and new single 'Insignificant Other', the Queens follow-up to 2023's In Times New Roman... was recorded between New Orleans and Los Angeles and co-produced by frontman Josh Homme and bassist Michael Schuman.

The title of the album was Homme's idea, with the frontman explaining in a statement, "Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be 'perfecth'. And that title is funny when you're in a group, but it ain't so funny when you're alone."

As for the new single, 'Insignificant Other' is a near six-minute blues-flavoured lollipop Homme calls "a song about distance."
