Outback Cadillac Celebrate New Album With Launch Party This Weekend at Jive

Earlier this month, Outback Cadillac released their sophomore album, Ain't So Bad, via Daybed Records.

A 10-track collection showcasing the six-piece's growth as songwriters, the record was crafted over the past two years on the outskirts of Southern Adelaide at Snake Pit Studios.

Described as "a delusional detour off the broken highway of the Australian Dream", Ain't So Bad explores trauma, isolation and identity, which are contrasted by optimism and hope.

Keen to celebrate their first physical release (and second album), Outback Cadillac are launching Ain't So Bad at Jive this weekend, Saturday 26 September.

The band will be supported by local acts Ben Marwe (Bad//Dreems/Wedding Motel), STELLAR and The Sweet Blues.

Outback Cadillac is the songwriting project of Chris Anthony and Ethan Macauley and their band from SA's Mid Coast featuring Marcus Anthony, Nick Tanner, Tom Redden and Matt Anthony

The group, signed to Daybed Records, have acquired a cult following over the past several years without the use of social media.

Relying solely on their songwriting chops, the band have had plays on triple j, Unearthed and community radio both here and across the nation, while also being highlighted by American station KEXP.
