Luka Bloom Plots 'The Second Wind' Australian Tour 2027
The Irish singer-songwriter is hitting the road in support of his latest album.

Irish troubadour Luka Bloom makes his long-awaited return to Australian shores in 2027 on The Second Wind Tour.
Three years on since his last visit, and after recovering from major heart surgery, Bloom will be heading our way in support of his latest album, A Second Wind.
Releasing a statement about the challenges he's faced over the past couple of years leading up to his Australian tour, Bloom explained the name behind the tour: "It is called The Second Wind Tour, because that is what I have been given."
Bloom's tour begins in Tasmania with shows at the Theatre Royal in Hobart on Wednesday 24 February and Launceston's The Boathouse on Thursday 25 February, before continuing across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia with a series of headline solo shows and festival appearances, winding up in Western Australia with a show at Perth's Rechabite Hall on Thursday 8 April and Fairbridge Festival in Fairbridge from Friday 9–Sunday 11 April.

Luka Bloom has been making music for more than 50 years. In that time, the Irish singer-songwriter has released more than 20 albums, including his 1992 sophomore record The Acoustic Motorbike, one of his most successful releases that helped put Bloom on the map.
Combining traditional Irish folk sounds with contemporary guitar playing, Bloom has evolved from a fast finger picker to an accomplished guitar player with a big fan base down under.
