Joe Keery’s Djo Added To Laneway Festival 2025
Along with the addition of Djo, the Sydney venue has been upgraded.

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival just got even bigger with the addition of actor Joe Keery’s synth-pop rock project Djo.
The Stranger Things star has been making music under the Djo moniker since 2019, going viral earlier this year with his TikTok hit, ‘End of the Beginning’.
Laneway Festival marks Djo’s first Australian tour, with the surprise act joining the likes of Charli XCX, Beabadoobee, Barry Can’t Swim, Eyedress and Clairo on the stacked bill.
Organisers have also revealed a new venue for the Sydney leg of the top-notch indie fest, with the Sydney event relocating to the lush Centennial Park.
Laneway Festival pre-sale kicks off today at 9:30am local time and runs for 23 hours before the general on-sale commences tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16 at 9:30am. For full ticketing information visit the Laneway Festival website.

Laneway Festival returns in February 2025 at Western Springs in Auckland, New Zealand on Thursday, February 6. The travelling festival then sets up shop at Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, February 8 before hitting Sydney’s Centennial Park on Sunday, February 9, Melbourne’s Flemington Park on Friday, February 14 and Adelaide’s Bonython Park on Saturday, February 15. Laneway comes to an end in Perth at Wellington Square on Sunday, February 16.
Speaking about the upcoming festival, Laneway Festival Programming Coordinator Ruby Miles says, “This has to be my favourite Laneway lineup we’ve ever put together – I’m such a fangirl of all of these artists! Having Charli xcx as our headliner is a dream come true, but the lineup's depth from gates open until gates close will make Laneway 2025 so special.”
