Alex Lahey Shares EP of Unreleased Songs

Fresh from touring the nation celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut EP, B-Grade University, singer-songwriter Alex Lahey has surprised fans by dropping a five-track EP of unreleased songs.

Available exclusively on Bandcamp, Garage Sale [Vol. 1] features the previously unreleased tracks 'Room At the Top', 'A Girl Named Sloane', 'Shouldn't've Called It Quits', 'One Thing Leads To Another' and 'ILOVEYOU'.

"I write so many songs that never get heard," Lahey commented. "Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Here are a collection of songs that I love dearly, but never got to have their time. I'm glad you get to hear them now."

The release of Garage Days arrives three years after her third studio album, The Answer Is Always Yes.

While there hasn't been a lot of activity music-wise between releases, Lahey, a known St Kilda nuff, launched a podcast called AL, Kate & All Their Mates with former AFLW player Kate McCarthy earlier this year.

Fingers crossed Garage Days is just a taste of what Lahey has up her sleeve over the coming 12 months.
