Homegrown festival A Day in the Gully is coming back for round two in 2027.

After a massive inaugural event earlier this year that saw more than 10,000 punters take over Civic Park, organisers have revealed the festival will be back bigger and better in 2027, taking place on Saturday 27 February.

"7 months ago we danced through the rain, sang along to some of our favourite Aussie artists and packed out Civic Park for the very first A Day in the Gully," the festival's social channels posted.

"10,000+ of you showed up and made it a day we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. In 5 months, we do it all again."

While there is no word on the lineup, expect something pretty special if it's anything like this year's, which saw The Living End, Ball Park Music, Pete Murray, Chet Faker, Mallrat and Disco Lines take to the stage alongside local outfits Teenage Joans and The Tullamarines.

The Note were lucky enough to attend last year's festival, and we absolutely loved it, calling A Day in the Gully "a celebration of community and the joy of live music, proving that even in less-than-ideal conditions, good music can turn any day into something unforgettable.

The inaugural A Day in the Gully was crafted by SRO Events (Standing Room Only) in partnership with City of Tea Tree Gully, bringing live music to the northern suburbs.

Held at Civic Park in Modbury, the day was family-friendly and open to all ages, with a lineup of Australian icons and rising superstars.
