27 Music's Rach Whitford Lists Her Top Three SA Artists at BIGSOUND 2026

SA-based artist manager Rachel Whitford of 27 Music is up at BIGSOUND checking out all the goings-on at this year's event.

With an ear for talent, her client list includes Teenage Joans, Purée, The Tullamarines and Sunbleached. Whitford has a deep knowledge of the local Adelaide music scene, which is why we asked her to select three South Australian artists appearing at this year's BIGSOUND that are a must for anyone attending to check out.

WIN BIG

I am such a BIG FAN of WIN BIG! I had the pleasure of being invited into their inner circle at early inception and was able to hear some very early demos and was a fan instantly!!

When I finally had the chance to see them live, they absolutely delivered the energy, and the show was exactly the vibe that you would expect from hearing their tracks! As a big fan of bands like Drug Church and Angel Du$t – WIN BIG ticks all the boxes for me! Can’t wait to see people in the pit

PASH

Adelaide's absolute sweethearts – I am so excited that PASH are going to be up at BIGSOUND and the SA Music scene gets to claim them as their own! Such hard-working, driven, beautiful people that deserve the world and the attention they are getting. PASH are the heartthrobs of South Australia and have been releasing hit after hit that gets stuck in your head. I would say I am excited to see them, but the reality is – the venue will be at capacity before I've gotten in line!

Blinder

Blinder are just so freakin cool! I mean, just look at those sunglasses – always keepin it cool. Made up of a super group of SA musicians, it's so incredible to see this band/people getting their flowers. I personally haven't had the chance to catch them live yet, so BIGSOUND will be my debut, and I couldn't be more stoked because I know that room is going to be full.

As someone who loves nu-metal and shoegaze, Blinder blend all the best parts, and I can't wait to see them in Brisvegas!
