The Scenic Hotel's Harvest Party Returns This Spring
Fresh wines. Sun shines. Good times.

One of Adelaide's favourite pubs, The Scenic Hotel, celebrates 12 months under new ownership with the first Spring edition of its annual Harvest Party on Saturday 24 October.
Since October 2025, the much-loved Hills pub at Norton Summit has been in the hands of Brown Bottle Leisure, the group founded by Rob Denisoff, Angus Love and Koen "Koko" Janssens.
These three hospitality gurus know their stuff, with Denisoff co-founding Sunny's Pizza and 1000 Island, Love's career including stints at the legendary Prairie Hotel in Parachilna and some of Adelaide's most respected kitchens and Janssens, a Belgian-born winemaker, having spent over a decade making his mark on the South Australian wine scene.
"It's been a big year, and a pretty great one. We got the keys, rolled up our sleeves, and the Hills just kept turning up for us. This party is our way of saying thanks to everyone who’s pulled up a stool along the way," says Love.
The proof is in the pudding, with The Scenic named Best Regional Gastropub at the inaugural Top 50 Gastropubs Awards.
"Well, that was unexpected! To take home the top accolade amongst a group of venues we genuinely admire was humbling and rewarding, especially to be acknowledged for doing something we love, in a venue like The Scenic," says Denisoff.
Now it’s time to celebrate with the first Spring edition of its famous Harvest Party. The Scenic have teamed with some of its winemaking friends for the event, with spring releases from Jauma, Worlds Apart Wines, The Other Right, Commune of Buttons, Basket Range Wine, Gentle Folk, Riley Harrison Wine, Parley and No Mountain Wines on offer, with a one-hour wine tasting session between 2-3pm that includes a complimentary cleansing Coopers Schooie.

Adelaide design firm EleuM have been given the task of transforming The Scenic's terrace laneway into a hi-fi wonderland, with architectural lighting and installations built to bring the space to life, with DJs spinning vinyl as the sun sets over Adelaide.
When it comes to bites, the pub menu isn’t going anywhere, but there will be a few extra treats, including a special line-up dedicated to the best food group of all...snacks.
"Spring, new wine releases, another excuse to throw a party - Who doesn't love that! Great wine, good mates, the sun going down over the city and a laneway that looks and sounds like nothing we’ve done before - that’s our kind of celebration," says Denisoff.
The Scenic's Harvest Spring Party takes place on Saturday 24 October from 12pm until late. Tickets on sale now at moshtix.com.au.
