The Piccadilly Announces Curated Film Program ‘Here’s To Love’

Watch some of the best romance films on the big screen across ten weeks at The Piccadilly.

Here’s To Love is the latest film series presented by the folks at The Piccadilly in North Adelaide.

As part of The Piccadilly’s continued commitment to providing film lovers with the opportunity to see their favourite rewatchables on the big screen, Here’s To Love is another wonderful initiative sure to please those who like a little romance in their lives.

A tribute to all things sappy, Here’s To Love features screenings of ten classic flicks on a Tuesday across ten weeks from August to October.

“Love is in the air at The Piccadilly. We’ve been working on something for the hopeless romantics and coming-of-age hearts,” The Piccadilly shared on their social media.

“Starting August 12, we’re bringing you a season of ten iconic films about love, heartbreak, and growing up.”

The curated lineup of films begins on Tuesday 12 August with the ‘90s coming-of-age rom-com, Clueless. A very loose adaptation of Jane Austen’s famous 1815 novel Emma, the movie stars Alicia Silverstone alongside then rising stars Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy and Stacey Dash.

Highlights of the program include Greta Gerwig’s award-winning Lady Bird, ‘80s romance classic Dirty Dancing and the Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel-starring 500 Days of Summer.

The program concludes with the Julia Roberts and Richard Gere favourite, Pretty Woman, on Tuesday 14 October.
