Gin & Comics is held at Milledge’s Distillation on the last Thursday of every month.

Love a laugh? Enjoy local gin? Then get yourself down to the Port on the last Thursday of every month for new comedy night, Gin & Comics.

After a hugely successful opening night in April, Cold Blooded Comedy’s Gin & Comics returns this month for another evening of hilarity, spotlighting some of Australia’s best up-and-coming comics.

Held at the iconic Milledge’s Distillation in Port Adelaide, this new comedy room highlights local and touring comics alongside some of the best Aussie small-batch gin going around.

While two recent noise complaints have put Milledge’s in the crosshairs, the venue are doubling down on their commitment to providing a welcoming space for comics to showcase their wit, with Gin & Comics “bringing laughter, local spirit, and a big middle finger to noise complaints!”

“Milledge’s has always been about craft – craft spirits, craft experiences, and now, craft comedy,” says Clay McMath, founder of Cold Blooded Comedy and MC of the inaugural show. “We’re not just putting on a gig – we’re starting a movement. A very funny, slightly tipsy movement.”

This month’s edition of Gin & Comics is MCed by funnyman Justin Sorre, with stand-up sets from Nona Mona, Clay McMath, Bill Egan and Granny Flaps, aka award-winning comedian Lori Bell.

Grab a few friends and head along for a night of laughs, gin and good times.

Head along to Gin & Comics at Milledge’s Distillation in Port Adelaide on Thursday, May 29. Tickets on sale now via eventfinda.com.au.
