Australia's newest citizen, comedian Arj Barker, returns to the stage for his eleventh national tour in 2027.

After more than 25 years of touring Australian shores, Barker can finally call himself one of us, and to celebrate, he's embarking on an Australian tour with a brand new hour of material.

Barker's new show finds him pondering some of life's most pressing questions, including why nobody tells the truth on dating apps, whether there is, in fact, a cure for FOMO and the questionable necessity for fire blankets.

Showing the Aussie spirit, Barker is giving a percentage of every ticket sold on the tour to Beyond Blue and Wildlife Recovery Australia.

The Eleventh Hour Tour begins on Friday 5 February at Illawarra Performing Arts Centre in Wollongong and will hit major city theatres to regional centres, alongside seasons at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and Brisbane Comedy Festival, wrapping up at Albury's Albury Commercial Club on Saturday 29 May.

Tickets on sale soon. Join the waitlist at alist.com.au.

A favourite amongst Aussie comedy fans, Barker has been touring the nation for more than 25 years after dropping out of college to pursue comedy in the '90s.

Breaking out in 1997 after winning the prestigious Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Barker has gone on to appear on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman, popped up on Australian shows such as Thank God You’re Here, Spicks and Specks and Have You Been Paying Attention and sold out seasons at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Now officially an Aussie, Barker is excited to hit the road as an Australian and bring the laughs next year.

Catch Arj Barker performing in The Garden of Unearthly Delights as part of Adelaide Fringe from Monday 1 to Sunday 14 March 2027. Ticketing information is available at alist.com.au.
